Choosing a template
Pick one of 15 layouts, previewed live as you type. Each suits a different kind of business.
- Classic, Modern, Minimal, Bold
- Receipt, Corporate, Elegant, Compact
- Statement, Sidebar, Banded, Monochrome
- Grid, Subscription, Work order
Whitelabel branding
Set your branding once in invoice settings and every new invoice inherits it.
Your business logo at the top of the invoice.
Name, address and contact information.
A brand colour applied throughout the template.
How and where the client should pay.
Branding is snapshotted onto each invoice at issue time. Rebranding tomorrow never rewrites what you sent last month — every past invoice looks exactly as it did the day it went out.
Building an invoice
- 1Pull the client from a contact list, or type their details by hand.
- 2Add line items — totals, tax and discounts calculate live as you type.
- 3Set the due date, which also drives the automatic reminder.
- 4Choose whether to send immediately on create.
Sending and status
The invoice email goes out the moment you create it (when you choose to send now), with a private link to a public page.
Prepared but not yet sent.
Delivered to the client.
Marked settled.
Past its due date — flagged automatically by the daily job.
Subject and body are editable per workspace and per invoice, with placeholders for the contact name, business name, invoice number, total and due date — and sensible zero-edit defaults if you'd rather not touch them.
The client's view and PDF
Recipients open a private, token-gated public page — no account needed — where they can view the invoice and download a PDF.
- The PDF comes from a print-optimised page via the browser's Save as PDF, so text stays crisp and selectable.
- There's no separate app to install and nothing extra to configure.
Connect Stripe and the same page gains a Pay button, so clients can settle the invoice by card in seconds — it's marked paid automatically the moment the payment clears. See the Products, Storefront & Payments guide.
